How Frequently to Post?
According to industry experts, it’s best to post to your social media channels a minimum of once a week. It’s better to post 3 times a week, and optimal to post once per day.
Avoid sharing several posts in quick succession. Allow at least 3 hours between posts. “Too many updates” is the #1 reason people unfollow business pages.
Schedule your posts ahead of time!
We recommend using a Facebook scheduling tool to plan your social media calendar days or weeks in advance. It’ll keep you from forgetting to post and give you the flexibility to test different posting times.

What to post?

When in doubt, keep your posts as brief as possible. Remember: there’s a good chance you’re dealing with scrollers and mobile users. Consider the following bite-sized post types such as:
- Quick questions to followers
- Quotes or stats from an article that require a click for more context
- Snappy or witty statements coupled with a picture

On Facebook, too many hashtags can be bad for your engagement. But 1-2 hashtags can help widen your audience. To be seen and shared by Roeda, use #RoedaStudio in your posts.
On Instagram, the consensus is that about 11 hashtags is a good number to start with. But the most common number of hashtags to use on Instagram is between 1 and 3.
